Individual Player Holy Light
Cast Holy Light/Flash of Light on a player in your party, or yourself, only.
/cast [help] Holy Light; [target="x"] Holy Light
“x” is Party(1-4), thus 5 individual Macros must be made with “Player” replacing “x” to target yourself. You can always replace the spell name with a different spell, i.e Flash of Light.
Easy Seal and Judgement
Judge an enemy with one button or recast a Seal. Important: A seal must already be activated to achieve the Judgment effect.
/cast Judgement
/stopcasting
/cast Seal of X
“X” is the name of the Seal, i.e. Wisdom, Crusader etc.
One touch Bubble-Bandage
/cast Divine Shield
/stopcasting
/useitem Heavy Runecloth Bandage, [target=player,help]
Cast Divine Shield and bandage yourself. This conserves mana when doing this rather than casting Holy Light.
Seal of Command

Self Casting

This will also cast Flash of Light on yourself, regardless of target. You will also not lose your current target.

This will cast Flash of Light if the target is friendly. In any other case (enemy or no target selected), it will cast it on you. You will also not lose your current target. Note that there are several ways of making this macro:
/cast [target=player, harm] Flash of Light; [help] Flash of Light – is another example
Defensive Macros
These following macros are for Instance/Raid oriented situations.
Paladin’s Taunt Righteous Defense Cheat
/cast [help] Righteous Defense; [target=targettarget] Righteous Defense
Cast BoP under the gaze of an enemy Another snoozer to “taunt” mobs with very little hassle
/cast [help,target=target] Blessing of Protection; [target=targettarget,help] Blessing of Protection
Bless Specific Macros
These macros bless players depending on pre-set Blessing in the marco.
GBL Cast Great Blessing of Light for the raid
/cast [raid] Greater Blessing of Light; [help] Blessing of Light; [target=player] Greater Blessing of Light

I have one potential issue. Its with the Righteous Defense macro, at least maybe. I have been using that macro flawlessly in dungeons. But when I was assinged to offtank Olm in Gruul’s Lair, i would taunt him and get the big guy on me instead and he would beat me to a pulp. Olm would not come instead i got the big mob, is the macro wrong or is it just wrong for that instance ?
It seems your using righteous defense near Gruul. Which is pulling him since RD can taunt up to 3 mobs at once. Also, Olm maybe resisting your taunt.
Righteous Defense: Come to the defense of a friendly target, commanding up to 3 enemies attacking the target to attack the Paladin instead

CAn you make that^^^^ macro with Divine Protection instead of Divine Shield? I’m only level 19.
Found the bubble heal and bubble bandage macros really useful, always get the full 8secs of channelling now. Here is one I made for switching to 1 hander and sheild when I get mobbed in combat, and switching back when things cool down. Saved my bacon more than once!

im brand new to macros and im trying to get a grasp on them so it might sound dumb but when things are in [] i know if you put another players name itll do spell to them but if you want it to do you do you put “self” or your toons name?

I made a ‘taunt’ macro on my pally that works great. it looks like this:
/assist
/cast Righteous Defense
/targetlasttarget
this way, you don’t have to target a player, keep looking at the mob, assist makes you look at the mob’s target ( like hitting the ‘F’ key) and then cast RD, and targetlasttarget, of course brings you back to the previous target, the mob in question, it all happens in a split second, it will appear as if you never stopped targeting the original mob
im wondering, is there any macro that cast flash of light over n over again by just 1 click?
maybe like when i target someone, i click on that macro n it heals FoL 3 times itself by just 1 click instead of pressing FoL for 3 times.

is there a macro to holy light a raid member (even if not in your party) certain number of times or until your mana runs out..
macros wont recast things for you.. that requires button spamming… sorry to burst your bubble but you get to spend your time pressing the button
im sorry, i know im new on here and everything, but it disheartens me to hear about people wanting a macro to play the game for them. its not that hard to hit a button. and it is so inefficient for a macro to continuously cast something for you (even if it was possible) that you would be deemed worthless in a matter of seconds. please don’t take me as being rude, i am just trying to leave my opinion.
I’m looking for a macro that would cast the 15 minute Salvation and then announce in a “say” who got the buff. That way, if someone accidently got Salv, they would know it immediately. Thanks

Macros make mudane tasks easier. Macros can also be the difference between a great and a average player. If your a purist, dont use them. But if you dont use them, dont frown upon people who do. I also bet theres some aspect of the way you game that can be enhanced by using macros

^^ Random macro that deals a shit load of damage to undead in one button.
It does more damage if you Seal of crusader first.
But seal of Righteousness is better

i use macros all the time, im not saying don’t use macros, just don’t try to make a macro do your job for you so you can go watch TV. i LOVE using macros, and i do agree that macros make mundane tasks more bearable, but having a macro cast a spell over and over for you isn’t what i would consider playing a character for yourself. and, btw, a couple of the macros i use are cast sequence macros for my blessings and judgements. so trust me, i do know that macros can make you more efficient. i will just leave it at that.
i think the castsequence does not work anymore you cant use div shield then holy light because of the global cooldown of 1 sec

Being a Macro Virgin I am looking to keybind, Holy Light, & Flash of Light.
I want to use *Mouseover Healing* where I simply mouse over a players name and press the appropriate Key. I read the following would work but I am afraid it does’nt. Have I mis typed or can anyone point me in the right direction please?

our problem may be one of two things. I would try to remove the space between “/” and “cast” and then if that doesn’t work I would try switching exists to help. That might clear it up. You also might want to do the following to make it stronger:

I haven’t tested this out so it might have a bug in it, but it should work as follows:
1) If you click alt, it will cast the spell on you (which is the default way that spells work without a macro.
2) if you mousover a friendly target, it will target that person.
3) It will heal through an unfriendly target and heal it’s target if that target is friendly
4) It will heal your selected target if they are friendly
5) Should provide a glowy cursor for you to select a target to heal.
That should have been a “Your” at the beginnin of my last post.

I am respeccing to holy pally. I am looking for a macro that will give me a 1 time powerful heal, so if i get into a pinch i can useit and not blow my lay on hands. I can hold my own pretty well as holy. but as you all know you sometimes miss a heal and have to struggle to catch up. also I am level 80. so helpme blow all the cooldowns to give a powerful heal. and i need it so i can target the person to give it to them.
im looking to follow my other toon in a dungeon and set up a macro that will follow and heal as health is draining from damage how would i set this up to heal after half health?? please email me with the correct macro
I’m not sure you can make a macro like that. If I read your post correctly, you are dual-boxing (or running two accounts at once on the same computer) and you want your healer toon to automatically heal your DPS toon at half health? I’m pretty certain you can’t do that with a macro.
Now, there are dual-boxing programs that when you click one key on one computer, the same key is clicked on the other computer. For example, if you are using a rogue and holy pally combo…when you click say “1″ on sinister strike for your rogue, the dual-boxing program sends the “1″ key to the other box, where your pally casts flash of light. I don’t know where you can get these programs, but to the best of my knowledge, they have nothing to do with macros.

Having issues…Use Grid + Clique as Holy Pally. Want to throw Divine Illumination then Holy Light. Set up in Clique as custom Macro. First cast works fine. Second one does nothing.
The First macro i ever made tryin to figure out macros that successfully worked lol is a very simple one and nice for that initial pull if anyone would be interested to give it a try

Crusader Aura with Flying Mount: This will cast Crusader Aura and mount you if you’re unmounted, and cast Retribution Aura and unmount you if you’re mounted. Replace the name of the mount and the aura as needed. (Note: This doesn’t work with the pally ground mount, since it shares a global cooldown with the auras.)
