Blizzard is offering players the ability to change their name for a $10 fee. Some players are not happy. They feel they will fall victim to the same player under another name. I would like to tell everyone IF you utilize your friend’s list and ignore list, your list would be updated to the new name. There is no escape.

If your ignore list is full, then you have decision to make and remove some from the list. If not, then you’ll just think that player is another ninja. /gasp. I never thought WoW would have an abundance of those types of players.

After 3 days of heavy farming for the Marks of Sar’geras (500+) and Zaxxis Insignia (200+), I was able to reach my goal in getting exalted with Aldor and revered with Consortuim to obtain the schematics for the Elemental Seaforum Charge.

Now I wait patiently for patch 2.3, so I can make my engineer-flying mount. Woot!

Fanaticism Update

- Fanaticism has been changed so the Threat reduction becomes invalid when righteous fury is on the paladin

2.3 PTR Patch Notes Update – Paladin

• Paladin seals no longer have a low chance to be dispelled if you have 3 points in Sanctified Seals.

• Judgement of Wisdom: It is no longer possible for the mana energize effect to trigger off of reapplication of the Judgement of Wisdom.

• Divine Favor: When this ability is cast immediately after a critical heal, it will no longer be removed incorrectly.

• Fanaticism (Retribution) now also reduces threat caused by all actions by 6/12/18/24/30%.

• Judgement of Light: The combat log will now show the mana gained from rank 5 of this ability as Judgement of Light instead of Seal of Light.

• Precision (Protection) now increases spell hit chance as well.

• Seal of Vengeance: The bonus damage this ability dealt when the debuff is fully stacked on the target was incorrectly too low. It is now increased.

• Spiritual Attunement: This ability will now gain mana properly from Vampiric Embrace heals.

Retribution Threat Reduction

A blue posted the following about retribution threat reduction:

After further discussion and testing we’ve decided to add threat reduction deep in the paladin’s retribution tree. Fanaticism will now reduce threat caused by all actions by 6/12/18/24/30%, in addition to its current effect.

Ogri’la potions might be usable anywhere

Don’t forget that in patch 2.3, you will be able to purchase potions with 50 apexis shards that will be equivalent to super healing or super mana potions. We are thinking of making them usable anywhere, so that should help too.
