Make Fun not War

Over at Ardent Defender, he posted about 10 things he dislike about raiding. While some of his stuff I agree with but unfortunately if you don’t have a strict leader trying to prevent these antics you will always be surrounded by it. So I suggest if you can’t beat it make fun of the situation by playing Karazhan Bingo.

  1. will look at playing Kara Bingo sometimes, when we have soo much down time. Though with people going afk and having to wait around i just make it useful and surf around and catch up on blog reading or WoW news.

What i often dislike is all the valuable time wasted by all the downtime.

  2. Heu …. here is a newbie question : What does “Push to Talk” mean ?

  3. /strict leader

    - Be early for raids, repaired, and carrying all consumables you will need

    - Keep Up. I am going to pull fast through trash. you can rest before we pull the next boss. Be efficient.

    - If there is someone AFK, leave them behind and move on. Yes, you can 8 or 9-man the trash pulls in Kara.

    - If there are new people boss fights will be explained on the way to the boss to the new people while we kill trash.

    - On boss fights know your primary role and be prepared to make any realtime adjustments necessary to the success of the raid.

    - As far as loot goes… who cares as long as people get upgrades. Just hand it out quickly so we can move on.

    - Most importantly… listen.

    /end strict leader

I don’t get to lead raids much anymore :(

    Speed runs FTW!

i can’t wait to start running ZA… just the thought of having a timed reward is exciting. it might make the rest of the people in the raid stay on the ball.
