Revision Mode

I finally had a chance to read all of the changes to the Paladin class. From what I see so far, I am quite happy but I can see potential mana issues with the protection tree. This is due to the additional spells able to generate threat and some spells cast times were reduced (i.e. Holy Shield). This may or may not change as the beta progresses so I am not too worried about it.

Here are the updates/changes:

As you may notice, there is a slew of information about WoTLK from the class talents to the new haircut design. You can get the information from MMO-Champion, WoW Insider and World of Raids.

Rehash New Abilities

There is a lot of speculation to what “new” ability a Paladin will get or changes to the existing ones in the upcoming WoW expansion WotLK. I for one foresee rehashes of “new” ability from other classes being implemented to the Paladin Class.

We’ll moving to a system that, as part of your talents, player will be able to convert healing into spell-damage and vice-versa as part of their talents. That way, they can use the exact same gear, but their talents just adapt what it does.

New Server

A few months ago, Blizzard decided to open a new PVE server called Cairne. The server is new meaning you can not transfer to the server and the AQ gates were closed (the gates opened this past weekend, that was fun to experience again). This intrigued me because I could start all over again. Also it would allow me to relax and not worry about raiding. So I decided to start a new alt (Belf hunter) and begin a new journey.
